David Lovell, the founder and publisher of David Lovell Publishing, passed away suddenly late last year and it is with great sadness that we advise you his company has closed.
David believed in every book he published and dedicated all his time and energy to make your books the best they could be. He was the epitome of a one-man-business and we are sorry there is no one to carry on his company.
Thank you so much for your support and understanding.

David Charles Lovell
(2-May-1944 to 26-Sep-2018)
The sudden death of David Lovell has robbed us of a shrewd and gentle wisdom figure. David had a wonderful warmth and a great gift of conversation. Indeed, it was difficult to spend time with David without feeling uplifted and valued. His book launches were more like family celebrations than marketing opportunities. He was generous in both word and deed. David’s work was profoundly influenced by both Lasallian and Ignatian spiritualities; he lived the values which found expression in the books he published. The world will be much poorer without his unaffected grace and deep compassion. He was always more inclined to laugh than to judge. He published books that addressed the deepest hungers of the age in which he lived.
